Frequently asked

Straight answers about scope, sources, and limits.

Does ConsentTensor provide legal advice?+

No. ConsentTensor is a compliance monitoring and guidance platform. Our findings and remediation suggestions are informational and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before implementation. Use of the platform does not create an attorney-client relationship.

How does the AI scanning engine work?+

We combine a headless crawler that inspects your rendered pages, forms, and network traffic with LLM-driven policy and content review. The engine evaluates 24 regulatory checks in parallel — from TCPA opt-in language to WCAG 2.2 conformance — and produces prioritized findings with jurisdiction context.

Which regions and regulations do you cover?+

U.S. federal (TCPA, ADA/WCAG), state privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, CPA, TDPSA, and others), EU GDPR, UK GDPR, Canada CASL/PIPEDA, and Australia Privacy Act. We update rulesets as regulations evolve.

Do you store consent records for me?+

Optionally. Our Consent Record Vault captures event-level opt-in evidence with immutable timestamps, IP, user-agent, and the exact disclosure shown. Records are exportable in audit-friendly formats.

How do integrations authorize? Do you access customer data?+

We authorize with the minimum scope required to inspect configuration — cookie banners, tag setup, form fields, subscriber consent metadata. We do not read or store your customers' personal data.

Can I export audit reports?+

Yes. Business and Enterprise plans include exportable PDF audit reports with executive summary, prioritized findings, remediation steps, and regulatory citations — suitable for board review or DPA counterparties.
